The STEP employability model of our company is highly capital-efficient, as its technology infrastructure and administrative costs are offset through partnerships with leading institutes. Over 1,000 students from MandiGobindgarh and surrounding areas have been trained to secure jobs in relevant industries, with annual salaries reaching up to Rs. 450,000.We aim to expand our impact and train 1 million students across North Indian cities such as Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Bathinda, Shimla, Ambala, Jammu, Patiala, Kurukshetra, Bhiwani, and Hisar. To achieve this, we are looking additional funding partners and planning an IPO.

In alignment with the Skill India initiative, DeshBhagat Skills Private Limited, through STEP and FIIP, is committed to building a skilled workforce that will play a crucial role in India’s development.

A significant 48% of Indian companies across sectors like BFSI, FMCG, IT/ITES, logistics, and retail are struggling to fill entry-level executive roles, according to Manpower Group’s annual Talent Shortage Survey. The India Skills Report 2021 highlights that, post-COVID, many companies are shifting focus toward remote work and online customer interactions. This means that a majority of entry-level jobs will be in customer sales and support, requiring employees to be proficient in remote communication. Roles in these areas will particularly benefit those with strong English communication, sales, and technical skills. However, many low-income youth lack the necessary skills to qualify for these positions.

DeshBhagat Skills Private Limited’s white-collar job-skills program is designed to bridge this gap by training and placing low-income youth in white-collar jobs within a 90-day timeframe.
